Ok so we went live on June 5,2006 and right away went to the webmaster community to ask for opinions & thoughts in regards to style, concept and general ideas for improvement.

While we did implement most, we still have some style issues to take care of link vlink & link issues.

I am personally dissapointed with the amount of people that have signed up for the PRIVATE FORUM as well as this BLOG so we need to put more emphasis on these two actions. I mean the money coming from sponsors will never put food on the table, but will keep the servers going long enough for me to come up with more concrete revenue streams from the forum, BLOG and other tied ventures.

This week though, I need to implement the following:

Tracking Software as well as Web Statistics Tool to help in measuring advertising campaigns

Google finally got back to me with an invitation code for their FREE analysis tool but I here it is more or less geared to them capturing visitor behaviour… It might be worth a try as I never played with Urchin before..

I see that England is about to play and since I am a Football/Soccer Nut, that is the first line of business for the weekend.

Content is changed

I changed the home page content which would hopefully tell our visitors the reason for the site quickly while still keeping focus on our sponsors which by the way happens to be someone else today.

It feels really good to think that I am on the right track with this.

Time will tell..

I also added FAQ page and fixed up some of the other pages as well.. Any comments would be appreciated.

Looks like content on the home page should be changed.

I am getting many inquiries in regards to misunderstanding about the concept of the site.

Back to the drawing board..

Changes should be coming sometime tonight, as I am on the road today and will not get a chance to change anything.

Ad Tracking System

Just giving you guys a quick background of what I need to do before I go out an start paying for advertising. I need to have a tracking system in place so I can start tracking ROI for each of my campaigns.

I will be using www.adtrackz.com as I have found it to be one of the best out there.

Just a quick peak of stats (webstats for now) shows me that I have had 15 human unique visitors today. I am hoping to start using www.statcounter.com which is pretty cool for a freebie. I will most likely start using on the weekend when I have more time for this type of tasks.

I have been busy doing research, but the current auction winner has received all those visitors.

So far methods used has been forums… Nothing else..

In Search for Ezine Advertising.

Today,

I have giving myself the task of finding ezine advertising to advertising this idea. We have so far been getting feedback from like minded individuals in forums that we belong to. The response has been positive so far, except for one post from someone who believes that this is a SCAM. Check it out here

The Nerve of this guy, most probably someone that has gotten hurt in the past. But then again.. who hasn’t online…

That is the reason why we created this…

I will post some of the ezine which I will find during the day and go through the process of figuring out what I will pay for …
